The boxes were often filthy and would leave my clothes and hands covered in dirt and dust.
Many days would consist of inventory being delivered on a pallet jack, removing the items, stacking them on the ground, breaking down the boxes, and repeating this for 8-10 hours. However, as time went on, the work shifted to more of a guest services rep/warehouse position composed of signing people up for rewards cards and unboxing boxes of giveaway items. Initially the role served as a good opportunity for someone to get their feet wet and learn about casino and event marketing. The pay I received in an entry level marketing role was incredibly low and far below average salary ranges for similar positions.
